Description

• If the person summoned is employed in active service of the Government, the Court issuing the summons shall typically send it in duplicate to the head of the office where the person is employed. The head of the office shall then ensure that the summons is served in accordance with section 62, and shall return it to the Court, signed and with the necessary endorsement as required by that section.
• The signature of the head of the office shall serve as evidence of proper service.
