Description

Any Court issuing a warrant for the arrest of a person may, at its discretion, endorse the warrant to allow the person to execute a bond with sufficient sureties for their attendance before the Court at a specified time, and thereafter until further direction by the Court. The officer to whom the warrant is directed shall take the security and release the person from custody.

The endorsement shall specify:

• The number of sureties required;
• The amount for which the sureties and the person arrested are to be bound;
• The time at which the person is required to appear before the Court.
