(1) The Court, under Sub-section (1), or upon receiving a letter of request under Sub-section (3) of Section 105C, shall direct a police officer not below the rank of Sub-Inspector to take all necessary steps to trace and identify the property in question.
(2) The steps referred to in Sub-section (1) may include any inquiry, investigation, or survey regarding any person, place, property, assets, documents, books of account in any bank or public financial institution, or any other relevant matter.
(3) Any inquiry, investigation, or survey mentioned in Sub-section (2) shall be conducted by the officer specified in Sub-section (1), following the directions issued by the Court for this purpose.
