Description

If, upon inquiry, it is established that executing a bond, with or without sureties, is necessary for maintaining peace or ensuring good behavior, the Magistrate shall issue an order accordingly.

Provided that:

• No person shall be required to provide security of a different nature, a larger amount, or for a longer duration than what was specified in the order under Section 111.
• The amount of the bond shall be determined with due consideration of the circumstances of the case and shall not be excessive.
• If the person subject to the inquiry is a minor, the bond shall be executed only by their sureties.
