Description

For the purpose of conducting an inquiry under Section 137 or Section 138, the Magistrate may:

1. Order a Local Investigation – Direct an investigation to be conducted by a person of his choice.
2. Summon and Examine an Expert – Call upon an expert witness to provide their opinion on the matter.
