CrPC Section-143 - Magistrate may prohibit repetition or continuance of public nuisance

Description

A District Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, or any other Executive Magistrate empowered by the State Government or the District Magistrate may issue an order prohibiting any person from repeating or continuing a public nuisance, as defined under:

  1. The Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860)
  2. Any special or local law governing public nuisances.

This authority enables the Magistrate to take preventive action to ensure public safety and order.
