CrPC Section-193 - Cognizance of offences by Courts of Session

Description

  • General Rule: A Court of Session cannot take cognizance of any offence as a Court of original jurisdiction.
  • Exception: Unless the case has been committed to it by a Magistrate under the provisions of this Code.
  • Other Laws: This restriction applies unless otherwise expressly provided by this Code or any other law in force.
