CrPC Section-205 - Magistrate may dispense with personal attendance of accused

Description

"When issuing a summons, a Magistrate may, if deemed appropriate, exempt the accused from personal attendance and allow representation through a pleader. However, at any stage of the proceedings, the Magistrate conducting the inquiry or trial may require the accused to appear in person and, if necessary, enforce such attendance as per the prescribed procedure."
