Description
"If a single act or series of acts creates uncertainty as to which specific offence has been committed, the accused may be charged with multiple offences, or alternatively, with one among them. All such charges may be tried together in a single trial.
- If the accused is charged with one offence, but the evidence proves that a different offence was actually committed—one for which he could have been charged under this provision—he may still be convicted of that offence, even if it was not initially included in the charge.
