Description
In every case tried summarily, the Magistrate shall record the following particulars in such form as directed by the State Government:
- Serial number of the case
- Date of the commission of the offence
- Date of the report or complaint
- Name of the complainant (if any)
- Name, parentage, and residence of the accused
- Offence complained of and the offence (if any) proved
- In cases falling under clause (ii), (iii), or (iv) of Sub-Section (1) of Section 260, the value of the property involved in the offence must also be recorded.
- Plea of the accused and his examination (if any)
- Finding of the case
- Sentence or other final order
- Date of termination of proceedings
