Description

1. Compliance with the Court Order

   • The prison officer must comply with a valid order under Section 267(1).
   • If required, the order must also be countersigned under Section 267(2) before action is taken.

2. Transport and Custody of the Prisoner

   • The officer must ensure the prisoner is taken to the court at the specified time.
   • The prisoner must remain in custody in or near the court until:
     • They have been examined or their presence is no longer required.
     • The court authorizes their return to prison.
