Description

A District Magistrate or Sub-divisional Magistrate may:

1. Assign any proceeding that has been started before him to any subordinate Magistrate for disposal.
2. Withdraw any case from, or recall any case previously assigned to, any subordinate Magistrate. He may then dispose of the proceeding himself or refer it for disposal to another competent Magistrate.
