Description

1. Nothing in section 426 or section 427 shall be construed as excusing any person from any part of the punishment to which they are liable, whether due to a former or subsequent conviction.
2. When imprisonment in default of payment of a fine is annexed to a substantive sentence of imprisonment, and the person undergoing the sentence is to undergo further substantive sentences of imprisonment after completing the current sentence, the award of imprisonment for default of payment of the fine shall not be enforced until the person has served the additional sentence or sentences.
