CrPC Section-471 - Exclusion of date on which Court is closed

Description

Where the period of limitation expires on a day when the Court is closed, the Court may take cognizance on the day the Court reopens.

This ensures that if the last day of the limitation period falls on a day the Court is not in session (like a weekend or holiday), the case isn't dismissed solely because of the Court's closure. The limitation period is extended until the Court reopens for business.
